（中央社東京7日綜合外電報導）日本網壇一哥錦織圭今天在美國公開賽爆冷撂倒球王喬科維奇之後，週日凌晨熬夜觀戰、直到天色方明的日本球迷，見證網壇這歷史一刻，莫不欣喜若狂，大肆慶祝。

美聯社報導，24歲的錦織圭6比4、1比6、7比6 (4)、6比3力克塞爾維亞名將喬科維奇（Novak Djokovic），成為首位挺進大滿貫賽男單決賽的亞洲選手。

錦織的老家島根縣松江市今天約有350名支持者擠進1間飯店的接待大廳，觀賞這場與球王對決的現場直播。球賽打完時，已經過了日本時間清晨4時。

濱海城市松江人口只有20萬，但家鄉子弟錦織這幾天在美網屢戰屢勝，原本寧靜的松江，也跟著瘋起美網。錦織這幾天接連過關斬將，包括歷經5盤大戰，擊敗加拿大羅尼奇（Milos Raonic）與瑞士瓦林卡（StanWawrinka）兩名強敵。
