1991年上映的動畫片《美女與野獸》，至今仍膾炙人口，美國有研究發現，美女和野獸這樣的外型組合，婚姻比較幸福。

哪對男女不想遇到帥哥、美女當另一半？但《妞新聞》引述美國田納西大學（The University of Tennessee）心理學家調查發現，女性和長相中等或以下的男性結婚，婚姻會較美滿，這是因為妻子不會對老公的工作表現不好有所責怪，但妻子相對的會對長相較帥的男生期待較高，也容易擔心老公外遇，疑神疑鬼下反而容易爭吵。（盧麗蓮／綜合報導）
