Tesco推自有品牌Android智慧手機

英國最大零售商特易購（Tesco）6日表示，今年底前將推出第一支自有品牌智慧手機，希望挾著Hudl平板電腦的成功進軍智慧手機市場。

特易購發言人表示，這支手機將搭載Google的Android軟體並內建特易購的服務。BBC報導，特易購的手機規格將與三星的Galaxy S5類似。

特易購去年推出的Hudl平板電腦至今已賣出逾50萬台，計劃今年9月推出第二版。Hidl平板電腦瞄準低階市場，售價119英鎊。

另外，特易購執行長克拉克（Philip Clarke）暗示，他打算待到2020年才卸任。他說：「我現在54歲，在特易購已待40年。我認為像我這樣的英國人通常在60歲退休，所以我還有六年的時間。」
