【羅惠齡／綜合報導】左投王維中在大聯盟規則5選秀被釀酒人挑走，他先是在網路上看到消息，一度以為自己是被海盜交易出去，當下還覺得很難過，因為他很喜歡海盜隊，也跟隊友建立不錯的情誼，直到接到經紀公司電話，他才弄清楚發生什麼事，暫時鬆了一口氣。

按照規定，王維中明年必須在大聯盟待滿整季，否則釀酒人得把他還給海盜。對於還在新人聯盟出賽的王維中壓力更大了，他透過個人臉書粉絲團表示，明年球季突然就要從大聯盟春訓開始，覺得超級意外，但既然機會從天上掉下來，他表示，平常心看待，目標絕對是拚進25人名單，
