港擬罷課爭普選　中大校長：校方將提供支援

香港中文大學今早舉行新生開學典禮，學生會亦正式宣佈罷課爭取普選。有學生會成員向學生派發黃絲帶，呼籲同學支持普選，並在每周四下午一同商討於9月底罷課安排。中大校長沈祖堯在開學典禮上表示，自己「很關注香港政制發展」，昨晚亦有看電視新聞，知道港人對人大的政改決定失望，但他表明不會對此表態，因「擔心被外界界定為大學聲明」。

沈祖堯希望能與計劃罷課的學生組織溝通，校方亦會提供協助，例如在百萬大道集會提供支援，協助急救和人潮管理等。他稱會尊重罷課學生的訴求，但期望罷課不會影響上課學生的權利，呼籲罷課學生守法。（大陸中心／綜合報導）
