巴西擊敗哥倫比亞，取得4強資格，但隊中主將內馬爾(Neymar)卻因傷，確定世足之旅就此告終。

香港《蘋果日報》報導，巴西隊主將內馬爾在第88分鐘的時候，因遭哥倫比亞後衛膝蓋重擊後腰倒地，不僅趴地表情痛苦，最後更用擔架抬出，緊急送醫檢查。

賽後巴西隊醫證實，內馬爾脊椎骨裂，今屆賽事都無法上陣。這也代表，在接下來的四強賽對戰德國，巴西隊恐有一番苦戰。
