法務部上午舉行新舊任一、二審檢察長、廉政署長交接典禮，法務部長羅瑩雪勉勵檢察長辦案要有新思維。

她舉北捷殺人事件為例指出，殺人案發生後，新北檢察署立即分案，展開蒐證、剖驗死者等偵辦行動。其次，犯保被害人保護協會立即兵分四路，到死者家慰問，協助申辦犯罪被害人補償金，適時慰撫被害人家屬和提供協助。第三，檢警調聯合迅速逮捕網路上放話，或PO文想模倣鄭捷殺人的粉絲，制止事件擴大。對社會有重大的正面貢獻，要求檢察長首長要站在民眾的立場，偵辦案件。
